Technical description

This substation for photovoltaic applications with string inverters is designed for medium power photovoltaic plants to increase voltage. It is recommended for plants below 20 MWc with string inverters.
It consists of an aluminium enclosure or container for easy installation on photovoltaic fields that are often difficult to access.

One state-of-the-art, compact, maintenance-free and hermetically tight SIEMENS MV switchgear type 8DJH 24 kV – 36 kV 630 A in compliance with IEC 62271
One IP2X protected low voltage panel board with circuit breakers or fuses to protect string inverters up to 800 V
One LV/LV dry-type transformer for auxiliary power supply
One C13-100 box to power the control, motorisation and supervision equipment in the event of a power cut
29 mm2 grounding circuit with grounding plate
A set of safety accessories up to 36 kV
